The South Zimbabwe Conference (SZC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, established in December 2014, has faced a decline in its progress and mission effectiveness. Challenges include fatigue and burnout among church leaders and outreach teams, reduced financial support due to declining stewardship, and member migration seeking better opportunities. This has led to poor church programming, fewer baptisms, and slower church-building efforts. Additionally, the lack of essential institutions like schools, health facilities, and rehabilitation centers hinders community engagement. Rural outreach faces obstacles such as poor road networks and limited transportation, affecting evangelism efforts.

To address these challenges, the SZC recognizes the need for revitalization in mission and evangelism, reengagement of its membership, and stronger community ties. 

The first Sabbath of 2025 was a remarkable and historic moment for the South Zimbabwe Conference as we launched a groundbreaking mission initiative to advance God’s work across our region and beyond.

Our Vision:

Recruit 85 Global Mission Pioneers and Bible Workers.

Deploy these workers to all unentered and semi-entered areas within the conference.

Acquire 100 motorbikes to empower our pioneers, Bible workers, and pastors in rural districts where transport challenges hinder ministry efforts.

This ambitious vision is only possible through God’s grace and your generous partnership. We appeal to you to play an integral role in this great mission.
